Log cabin resort reviews12/3/2023 ![]() This place is a bit out of maintenance and quite old. Staff were very nice and helpful and went above and beyond to address some maintenance issues at in the evening. ![]() The unit is very spacious and have a kitchen with microwave which is very convenient for a remote location like this. This place is right next to the lake and you can have great view right from your window. ![]() Our entire family had a blast and we are already planning the next family trip! … The camper cabins and RV areas looked nice. Parking was easy and it was easy to get our 19' boat in the water. Log Cabin is not as crowded as Lake Crescent lodge which was very nice. All the people working there were lovely and helpful. There is one dock which has rental paddle boards and kayak and another dock but it is closed! They say there are safety issues with it - how ridiculous to have it closed during the peak of summer! I don't know who is responsible for maintenance - Olympic National Park or the vendor, Aramark - whoever it is needs to prioritize and fix things. There is not a lot of shade - we brought a shade canopy which was really nice. The lake is beautiful and entering the lake is easy for the kids. Linens are supplied and so are bath towels. All the rooms except the cabin without a kitchen have a counter, sink, mini refrigerator and microwave - be aware nothing is supplied (no utensils, etc.) All the rooms have keurig coffee makers. The chalet is ok - they're on the lake but no privacy between neighbors. The lodge room is right on the lake and has privacy walls on both sides, which is very nice. But, the cabins are new and are nice and roomy with a lot of room in front for games or spreading out. I recommend the cabin with kitchen and the lodge room - I feel the chalet rooms have more of a neglected feel and deferred maintenance (holes in the screens, looks like mildew underneath the bathroom sink, front door didn't shut well). We had a family reunion and rented two cabins (one with kitchen), a chalet room and a lodge room.
